Phantoms

With a crash of the glass-towered world
We escape
Making beds of hostile landscapes
The wood crack of moment to moment
Stings our faces
But tears away at four structures

We're moving together
Moving together, moving together
Moving together

Up the steepest of wave walls
We climb
Against the back of the sunlit mountainside
The ghosts and the gun guide our way
Through riffraff of light
Looking in on our own true nature

We're moving together
Moving together, moving together
Moving together

We're less and less human
More and more phantom
Broad-winged and boundless
Shadowed and soundless
Fervent and faithless
Towering traceless
Deconstructing our nature
We're moving together

We're moving together
Moving together, moving together
Moving together

Blown Minded

How did I get to here?
A random chain of events
Or chemical and elements
Conspiring, divining

From the star I've been pulled apart
By weightless love
And the heavy hearts
Of sadness

Oh, I was born blown minded
With an eye on oblivion

In my heart I have lived without aught
It's been the war of attrition
Between a small-minded fool
And sublime intuition

I believe there's a meteor out there
With my name on it
Hurtling through space
And nothing can stop it

Oh, I was born blown minded
With an eye on oblivion
