Eyes On Fire

I’ll seek you out,
Flay you alive
One more word and you won’t survive
And I’m not scared of your stolen power
I see right through you any hour

I won’t soothe your pain
I won’t ease your strain
You’ll be waiting in vain
I got nothing for you to gain

Eyes on fire
Your spine is ablaze
Felling any foe with my gaze

And just in time
In the right place
Steadily emerging with grace

Heroic

Enough said, the make-shift
is a comfortable chair
sit back and I'll tell you

we're living in fear
and I don't know
why you talk so rough
why should I be
not sure of my-
self my intentions
they are crystal clear

isn't it always so?

the story is unfold, at least
you got a different role
and now you gotta quit
the scene

I favour your flavour
I'm confronting you
you stroke a bad patch
with the man who has you
and baby won't you
consider me

I'll make you whole
and we'll be free
and we're driving alone
on a Saturday night
we're feeling alright
everything's in sight
and baby won't you
consider me

I'll make you whole
and we'll be free

isn't it always so?
the story is unfold, at least
you got a different role
and now you gotta quit
the scene

Take A Walk On The Wild Side

Little Joe Never Once Gave It Away,
Everybody Had To Pay And Pay.
A Hustle Here And A Hustle There
New York City Is No Place Where They Said:

Hey Babe, Take A Walk On The Wild Side,
Said Hey Honey, Take A Walk On The Wild Side.

Jackie Is Just Speeding Away,
Thought She Was James Dean For A Day
Then I Guess She Had To Crash, Valium Would Have Helped That Bash - She Said:

Hey Sugar, Take A Walk On The Wild Side,
Said Hey Honey, Take A Walk On The Wild Side.
And The Coloured Girls Go, Doo Dodoo

Big Bird In A Small Cage

There was a house half way round the world
And I was invited in for a small taste of gin
There was a hall with a thousand birds long
But the biggest one of them all was in a cage too small

I asked the caretaker cause he was the maker
He looked at me and laughed, took another sip from his glass and said
Open up your ears and hearts
You put a big bird in a small cage and he'll sing you a song
That we all love to sing along
To the sound of the bird that mourns

Well it's a quarter to twelve when the boys walked in
They got their black suits on and the songs would begin
You open up your ears and hearts
You put a big bird in a small cage and he'll sing you a song
That we love to sing along
To the sound of the bird that mourns

You put a big bird in a small cage and he'll sing you a song

The Man With X Ray Eyes

Shoes that no man would want to wear
Wipe away the night's last cold stare
Red fist curled 'round the house
Was away boy Shelly's shoes
wash

Chocolate power is so crisp
The atomic open house is really here
And we have gone so desperate
Your power knows no bounds
And heavier with time
Are our shoes
That no man would want to wear
New tread wipes a wet road so dry
it stings

Into the borrowed course
Under the dreadful birds
Under the singing soil
And all those guilty clouds

I have seen too much
Wipe away my eyes
Too much

ΕΞΟΔΟΣ

The following photos are from the play ΕΞΟΔΟΣ@Συνεργείο theater

Rest Your Head

Sorry for the pain you're in
All the lacked up people that clipped your wings
I'm sorry for the feelings that left you twisted

Sorry for the love you lost
Thought you spent it on things that never returned
I'm sorry

Sorry that you wouldn't believe
All the love from your friends that you couldn't recieve
I'm sorry your miracle girl is rested

Sorry that the light burned out
You tried to hold on for the fear of the doubt
I'm sorry, I'm sorry

Sorry that they broke your crown
Took your heart and put you down

I'm sorry for the price to pay
I'm sorry, sorry

Sorry that the skies fell in
And the stars and moon left your eyes
Sorry I changed my mind about you

Sorry that the lines didn't meet
Full of story pages that are incomplete
I'm sorry for the precious times I wasted

We're sheddin lies, you'll wipe your eyes
We're lighting fires, all the way to downtown
Journey's long, we're on our own
I'll keep you warm, all the way to downtown

Rest your head from weariness,
Rest your head from breaking your bones
Rest your head

The LightHouse

may I join your side sometimes
may I let you drive me for a while
I want to see the world for what it is
but my peaceful tower
is not easy to leave

may I join your side sometimes
may I let you drive me for a while
I want to see the world for what it is
but my lonely lighthouse
its so hard to get in

so this is where you live
in a world unachieved
your helicoidal stairways
won't bring to the sky

You handsome -headless- devil

All the streets are crammed with things
Eager to be held
I know what hands are for
And I'd like to help myself

You ask me the time
But I sense something more
And I would like to give
What I think you're asking for
You handsome devil
Oh, you handsome devil

Let me get my hands
On your mammary glands
And let me get your head
On the conjugal bed
I say

I crack the whip
And you skip
But you deserve it

You deserve it

There's more to life than books, you know
But not much more
Oh, there's more to life than books, you know
But not much more, not much more
Oh, you handsome devil
