Interlude

Time is like a dream
And now, for a time, you are mine
Let's hold fast to the dream
That tastes and sparkles like wine
Who knows (who knows)
If it's real

Or just something we're both dreaming of
What seems like an interlude now
Could be the beginning of love
Loving you
Is a world that's strange
So much more than my heart can hold
Loving you

Makes the whole world change
Loving you, I could not grow old
No, nobody knows
When love will end
So till then, sweet friend ...
Time is like a dream
And now, for a time, you are mine
Let's hold fast to the dream
That tastes and sparkles like wine
Who knows
If it's real

Or just something we're both dreaming of ?
What seems like an interlude now

Could be the beginning of love

Lost in Athens

Athens 2012, a hydrocephalus metropolis seeking its origin and identity within the undisciplined conditions of rapid change. New residents flock within the city as former residents abandon it.

New values replace the existing; social and moral barriers of a structured society are substituted by primitive behavior....

Kennedy Killed The Hat

Baby
There's something wrong with you maybe
You take advice from the devil
In the heat of the night
Black leather, wild, wild animal
You know I'm down by law
And we're surrounded by assassins, phantoms, mutants and serpents
Werewolves and sex fiends

New York, New York City, Lafayette Street
Alright now bang bang, London, Paris
Shout the lights out, come on now

Baby
We're not the beautiful people
Runnin' down the street on fire
They want us to see me jump that fence
Sometimes I'd rather be dead
These are the wages of sin
And we're surrounded by assassins, phantoms, mutants and serpents
Werewolves and sex fiends

No Real Reason

Then I’d be crazy not to try
If they ever come looking for me
I will be waiting patiently inside
Pacing the flow of the nice bugs
And steadily hearing the old talk
Waiting for the band to come!

I got no real reason for my loneliness

Who is that looking in windows?
That I be crazy to decide
If they will come looking for me
I will be waiting patiently inside.
Maybe someone else can get it all right
By your silent new year …

I got no real reason for my loneliness

No one loves me and neither do I

Think I saw her for the first time maybe in a news stand
She was pickin a mag and dressed oblique
She called me baby, and was it me maybe with the song on the radio
So I told her I was rich, then she asked could I use a dirty bitch? (of course)

Then she said, 'No one loves me and neither do I
you get what you give,
I give goodbye
if i should vanish
don't get caught off guard
don't hold it against me
unless it gets hard

If sex is a weapon, then smash, boom,
how you like me now?
You can't always do it right, but you can always do whats left
So I told her 'I was trash', she winked & laughed and said I already know...
I've got a beautiful place to put your face' and she was right,

Then I said, 'No one loves me... neither do I'
It makes perfect sense,
So I never ask why
All gone tomorrow
Because life doesn't wait
You can keep your soul
I don't wanna soul mate

Call me I'm loose and ready to go
people in a world about to lose control

I know how to burn with passion
hold nothing back for future ration
give all you are, do not make haste
savor every single taste

you get ...cut

I know how to be controlled
do opposites of what you're told
be quick, react, to break the box
turn on queue, as your cell door locks

behind you

I know how to be lost in lust
not because you should, but because you must
it burns white hot, and so clouds the mind
its lightning strike isn't always kind

so use me up
use me up

Atlas Air II

Nothing to lose but my chains
Internet beats on my brains
Head in the sand, feet in the clay

A place to piece, a place to pray
A little money should tell me of my faith
This gun of smoke is slaying me
And time is still like grease, it slips
Suck it in, spit in pips
Yeah, spit in pips

My heart was big and like my pride
Let them feast on my insides
And when the filled had spilled its guts
Gently open, then it shuts

I’m in the hole
Three thousand days
A buried soul
They live the dream
In terminal
No war too mean

I know the drill
Got cells to burn
I’m dressed to kill
A mortal coil
And time is still
On secret soil

Yeah, pay the bills
Cells to burn
Mouths to fill
On Boeing jets
In the sunset making glowing threats

Entropy

Entropy is a thermodynamic property that can be used to determine the energy not available for work in a thermodynamic process, such as in energy conversion devices, engines, or machines. Such devices can only be driven by convertible energy, and have a theoretical maximum efficiency when converting energy to work. During this work, entropy accumulates in the system, which then dissipates in the form of waste heat.

In classical thermodynamics, the concept of entropy is defined phenomenologically by the second law of thermodynamics, which states that the entropy of an isolated system always increases or remains constant.

Thus, entropy is also a measure of the tendency of a process, such as a chemical reaction, to be entropically favored, or to proceed in a particular direction. It determines that thermal energy always flows spontaneously from regions of higher temperature to regions of lower temperature, in the form of heat. These processes reduce the state of order of the initial systems, and therefore entropy is an expression of disorder or randomness.

This picture is the basis of the modern microscopic interpretation of entropy in statistical mechanics, where entropy is defined as the amount of additional information needed to specify the exact physical state of a system, given its thermodynamic specification. The second law is then a consequence of this definition and the fundamental postulate of statistical mechanics.

The term entropy was coined in 1865 by Rudolf Clausius based on the Greek εντροπία [entropía], a turning toward, from εν- [en-] (in) and τροπή [tropē] (turn, conversion).

It is possible (in a thermal context) to regard entropy as an indicator or measure of the effectiveness or usefulness of a particular quantity of energy.

Atlas Air I

Yes, shall we take a spin again in business?
This time is fixed, let’s sweeten our facilities
It took all the man in me
To be the dog you wanted me to be

Shall we take a spin again, no witnesses?
This time is fixed, seven-three-seven is
You won’t feel a thing
Begging until you give it up, insane

Fish like little silver knives
Make the cuts on my inside
Yeah, let them feast, my heart is big
My heart is big, my blood will slide in metal studs

Tourniquet will hold its groove
Tourniquet will keep its grip
It took all the man in me
To be the dog you wanted me to be

Yeah, let them feast, my heart is big
My heart is big, my blood will slide
You let them feast, my heart is big
My heart is big, my blood will slide
to be continued....Atlas Air II

When Nietzsche Wept

When Nietzsche Wept / Όταν έκλαψε ο Νίτσε

When Nietzsche Wept is a 1992 novel by Irvin D. Yalom, Emeritus Professor of Psychiatry at Stanford University, an existentialist, and psychotherapist.¨

The book takes place mostly in Vienna, Austria in the late 19th century. It starts with Dr. Josef Breuer sitting in a cafe in Venice, Italy waiting for Lou Salome, who was involved with Friedrich Nietzsche. She has written a letter stating that the future of the philosophy of Germany is at stake.

Yalom's book is fictional but contains many references to history and historical persons: Josef and Mathilde Breuer, Friedrich Nietzsche, Lou Salome, Sigmund Freud, Bertha Pappenheim, Paul Rée as well as mentioning Franz Overbeck, and the composer Richard Wagner.
